Founded in January 2006 by Kevin McCarthy and Paul Booty, both of whom left one of the longest established Bury St Edmunds firms in order to concentrate on their specialities of criminal and mental health work.
Expansion 2008 in August of this year we merged with Stewarts of Stowmarket to enable us to grow and have greater access to the east of the county. We are now duty solicitors countywide.
The aim of the firm is to be in a position to deal with the challenges which face lawyers who practice in the field of publicly funded work.

Areas covered by the firm as specialists include all Criminal work (police station, magistrates, crown court and court of appeal), Courts martial for all serving members of the armed forces, Family law, Wills and Probate. We also employ a russian speaking member of staff.
In criminal cases the firm offers a service to its clients from the police station through to the magistrates and Crown court proceedings and to appeal proceedings thereafter if required. At each stage of the procedure there is access to most appropriately qualified member of the firm.
